Thanksgiving Day at the Scoop-N-Steamer
First, we would like to wish all our friends a very happy Thanksgiving Day!
We will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 7 am to noon….
We will serve only from the breakfast menu…….
So while the Turkey is in the oven, bring the family and guests down to the Scoop-N-Steamer for a stress free breakfast!

We admit, there is no “hustle and bustle” of shopping at the mall in Sumpter- no “busy sidewalks” nobody ringing a bell on every corner. So why come to Sumpter for the holidays? When’s the last time you enjoyed a quiet holiday with your family, played in the snow, drank hot chocolate, and watched a Christmas Parade – all in one day? Oh, if you’re worried about missing your favorite Christmas movie on TV – no worries….each log cabin has a tv with cable! If you’re wondering about dinner….go ahead and cook at home….then bring it with you to enjoy in the cozy warmth of an authentic log labin! Each of our log cabins come equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and all the plates and utensils you need to enjoy a complete holiday meal with your family! Before dinner…..take a short stroll down to the Sumpter Municipal Museum to enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas bazaar, followed by a Christmas Parade and much more! The folks in Sumpter are still planning all the fun events right now….but if a holiday weekend in Sumpter sounds good to you…..better get your reservations in now – while we still have room!

Welcome To Our New Home!
It’s been another great summer in Sumpter at the Scoop-N-Steamer! It’s been long, hot, and fun! As things start to wind down, we’ve finally been able to catch our breath and that’s when we realized that the Scoop-N-Steamer restaurant has been in business for almost 20 years! If you haven’t been to the Scoop-N-Steamer in a while, we would like to let you know that we have been working hard around here….for starters, we have added some new items to the menu you already love. And this summer, we introduced milkshakes to go along with our list of famous hard ice cream at the Scoop-N-Steamer! Last year, we started serving beer and wine too. We are also proud to announce that we now have another Log Cabin to the Scoop-N-Steamer, which brings our total available Log Cabins for rent to Five. It’s a cozy cabin for two…you can learn all about it here. With all these changes, we got to thinking that we would like to freshen our website up a bit too…We invite you to take a look around and let us know what you think! By the way, we are still working on our new home a little….but don’t let that stop you from taking a look around….. just be sure to come back soon!
